Transformer Oil Purification plant Functions

The Transformer Oil Purification Plant delivers high-performance oil purification through a series of advanced processing steps. Transformer Oil Purification Workflow

 

The Transformer Oil Purification Plant is engineered with a multi-stage process that delivers precision filtration, deep dehydration, and reliable gas removal. Designed for online transformer oil purification, this system maintains the integrity and performance of insulating oil in high-voltage equipment.

1. Primary Impurity Interception

The oil first passes through an 80-mesh stainless steel pre-filter, which removes metal debris, fibers, and other contaminants larger than 100μm to protect downstream precision components.

2. Heating

The pre-filtered oil flows through a tubular heat exchanger and is heated to 60–65℃. This reduces oil viscosity and activates water molecules for deeper dehydration.

3. Vacuum Atomization Degassing

The heated oil enters a three-dimensional spiral atomization tower, forming a 5–10μm oil mist via a special nozzle. In the vacuum separation chamber, the mist spreads into a thin film, increasing the gas-liquid contact area to over 300 times that of the normal state. Under combined vacuum and heat, water and dissolved gases are rapidly vaporized and extracted.

4. Vapor Phase Condensation Recovery

The vapor discharged from the top of the separation chamber enters a three-stage condenser:

① Stage 1: Air cooling reduces the vapor temperature to 40℃

② Stage 2: Circulating water cooling further reduces it to 25℃

③ Stage 3: A low-temperature collector ensures condensation efficiency exceeds 99%

The condensed water is collected in a transparent storage tank for easy monitoring of discharge volume.

5. Three-Stage Fine Filtration and Purification

The dehydrated and degassed oil passes through a glass fiber composite filter with a β value ≥1000, capturing remaining particles larger than 3μm. The final output meets NAS 5 cleanliness level (ISO 4406 standard).

6. System Linkage Control

A PLC automatically regulates the vacuum pump group, heating elements, oil pump speed, and other parameters throughout the process. This ensures stable and efficient operation even as oil viscosity fluctuates.
